For the sixth straight year, Robin Sue Kaiserman is Tucson's top-selling residential agent, with 1998 sales of nearly $24 million.

Kaiserman, who moved from another company last year to Long Realty's Foothills Office at North Swan and Sunrise, attributed her continued success to being in "such a strong office.''

"Everybody in my office had a good year,'' she said. The office rose from 11th in 1997 sales to No. 1, she added.

Kaiserman sold more homes, 68, last year than the 50 she sold in 1997, when she worked at Coldwell Banker Success Realty. Her average sale was about $350,000. One of the 68 homes was not listed through the Tucson Association of Realtors' Multiple Listing Service.

Her MLS total with 67 homes sold was $23,743,800, a 20 percent increase from 1997.

Long Realty did $1.39 billion in business last year, including its Sierra Vista office, for a 31 percent Tucson metropolitan area market share, said Stephen Quinlan, co-owner and designated broker, who took the figures from MLS records. Realty Executives was the No. 2 firm.

He said the total, up 46 percent from 1997, was a company record.

Quinlan noted that several of the top agents in the city are with Long.

After Long and Realty Executives, companies with the highest market shares in a descending order are Tucson Realty & Trust, Coldwell Banker Success, Prudential Aegis, and Re/Max Premier Realty.

After Kaiserman, the leading agents in a descending order of total sales of all properties, including some non-residential, are:

* Madeline Friedman, Long Realty, $19,297,011.

Rob Lamb, Realty Executives, $18,459,544.

* Russell Long, Long Realty, $18,174,350.

* Laurie Kaye, Long Realty, $17,890,908.

* Michael Harris, Tucson Realty, $16,792,050.

* Cathy Handrigan, SunLakes Realty, $16,503,900.

* Reta Cox, Long Realty, $16,361,827.

* Janell Jellison, Tucson Realty, $16,076,342.

Counting just residential sales, the rankings were only slightly changed.
